I figure this would be a great trend to introduce myself to you all.

  1. My favorite genre is romantacy.

  2. I hate the miscommunication trope with a passion.

  3. My favorite series is The Broken Earth Trilogy by NK Jemisin. This series also got me back into reading in adulthood.

  4. I always cry when I’m reading YA coming-of-age novels.

  5. My most awaited releases for this year are Amari and the Despicable Wonders by B.B. Alston and Mirrored Heavens by Rebecca Roanhorse.

  6. As a kid, I was obsessed with the Lord of the Rings series and reread the books multiple times.

  7. I started A Song of Fire and Ice series but never finished the fourth book.

  8. My favorite movie adaptation of a book is The Outsiders.

  9. My favorite book I’ve read in 2024 is A Love Song For Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams.

  10. I like to read two books at a time. Usually, one book is in audio format, and the other is a physical book or on my Kindle.

  11. I rarely use bookmarks and force myself to remember the page I left off on.

  12. I take voice notes while reading books because I usually forget what they’re about once I finish them.

  13. I will DNF a book for any reason. I don’t believe in forcing myself to read something.

  14. I read diversely. I love learning about cultures and perspectives different from my own.

  20. I enjoy reading memoirs in audiobook format because they feel less like books and more like I’m listening to a friend tell me about their life.

  22. Negative reviews are important. As long as the review is respectful, I don’t see anything wrong with them.

  23. I hate loaning books to people.

  24. I read more than I watch TV.

  25. I don’t read self-help books.
