Quick Thoughts: The Supernatural Investigations Series

How long has it been since you’ve read a middle-grade fantasy series 👀

For me, the last series I read (prior to this one) was “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” in middle school. Little me loved that series but also wished that there was a book out there with a heroine who looked and experienced the world like me.

Amari Peters is that girl.

The “Supernatural Investigations” series by B.B. Alston is a thrilling journey filled with fun, creativity, and imagination. The first book, “Amari and the Night Brothers,” follows 13-year-old Amari Peters as she embarks on a quest to find her missing brother Quinton. When Amari stumbles upon a briefcase in Quinton’s closet containing a nomination to the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs, she opens the door to a world of unimaginable adventures.

If you’re looking to get into fantasy but don’t know where to start, I highly recommend this series.
